Today we're opening the Göteborg Energi Developer Portal: one place for our open APIs, documentation and guides for developers who build smarter energy services.

The Grid Tariff API​

The first API on the portal is the Grid Tariff API. It gives you all grid tariffs from Göteborg Energi Nät AB in a machine-readable format: fixed fees, energy prices and power fees, and hourly prices for tariffs with a dynamic power fee.

  • Open: no account and no API key. Just send a request.
  • A shared standard: the API follows the Swedish data standard for grid tariffs (Eltariff API), which Swedish grid companies are developing together. Code you write for us can also be used with other grid companies that adopt it.
  • Every day by 15:00: the next day's hourly prices are published, together with estimates for the days after.

The API is available in our UAT environment today, so you can start building and testing right away. Hourly prices in production are on their way. Read more in Getting started.
